Introduce your family to a fascinating world of mythical gods, majestic temples, and stunning antiquities. Take to the sea aboard the sail-assisted motor yacht S.V. Panorama and sail through the glorious Cyclades. Discover ancient temples in beautiful island settings, swim and snorkel in crystalline water, and step into legendary castles and caves. Along the way, young explorers participate in special hands-on activities.

    Days 1 and 2 — U.S./Athens, Greece/Piraeus/Cape Soúnion
    Depart on an overnight flight to Athens. After free time to explore the city, transfer to Piraeus and embark the Panorama. Settle into your cabin as the ship sails to Cape Soúnion. Take a swim and catch the sunset on the Temple of Poseidon perched atop the cliffs.

    Day 3 — At Sea/Sífnos
    Cruise through the Cyclades, pausing for a morning swim. At Sífnos, known for its distinctive pottery, stroll through its harbor village and stop at a pottery factory to watch artisans at work and try your hand at the craft. This evening, learn a traditional Greek dance.

    Day 4 — Santoríni
    The archipelago of Santoríni was formed when a volcano erupted in the second millennium B.C. Glide into the caldera, and head to the town of Thíra for a visit to the Nomikos Foundation. Learn about the culture and geology of the islands before lunch at a cliff-side restaurant. Then ride a cable car or a donkey down to the harbor.

    Day 5 — Kos
    Pull into the harbor at Kos this morning. Ride a bike to the ruins, and learn about Greek drama at the impressive Odeon. Trace the legacy of the Crusaders at the Castle of the Knights of St. John.

    Day 6 — Pátmos
    Cruise the Dodecanese Islands in search of a spot to snorkel. Spend the rest of the day in Pátmos. Visit the Monastery of St. John, and venture into the Holy Cave of the Apocalypse, where St. John wrote the Book of Revelation.

    Day 7 — Náxos
    Drop anchor in Náxos, the largest of the Cyclades. Drive to Apíranthos, where streets are paved with marble and homes are built from local stone. Then explore the secret passages at the intriguing Venetian Castle. Enjoy dinner on board or in town tonight.

    Day 8 — Delos/At Sea
    Anchor at the tiny islet of Delos, where the twin gods Artemis and Apollo were born. Discover the myths of this archaeological gem as we explore the Street of the Lions, the temple of Apollo, and the amphitheater. Later, take a swim before a final afternoon at sea.

    Day 9 — Piraeus/Athens/U.S.
    Disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
