Our local expert shares insider anecdotes about Bratislava before you embark on a walking tour of its cobblestoned city center, where you’ll observe 17 centuries of Slovak heritage eloquently chronicled in its 13th-century Old Town Hall, Baroque Habsburg-era palaces, the Opera House, Slovak Philharmonic Hall, and St. Martin’s Cathedral, site of the coronation of many Hungarian kings and queens. Get a unique taste of daily life in this easygoing city on a luncheon cruise along its tree-lined 17th-century canals. You’ll have an opportunity to savor the riches of the Museumplein as you wish before rejoining the ship this afternoon.
