Days 1 & 2: Windhoek, Namibia
Arrive in Windhoek on Day 2. Explore the city, where history and beauty merge in the quaint architecture, charming streets and gardens. Visit the seat of government and the Christuskirche church, whose spire is a town landmark.

Day 3 & 4: Sossusvlei
An array of exotic desert plants, animals and massive dunes await as you head into the NamibRand Nature Reserve in 4-wheel-drive vehicles. This private reserve is part of the largest conservation area in Namibia, and the site of some of Africa’s most breathtaking scenery. There are spectacular photo opportunities at every turn. Your impressive lodge is perched on the edge of a rocky escarpment in the heart of the Namib Desert. View stars and constellations in the company of the resident astronomer.

Day 5 & 6: Swakopmund
Fly over the dunes to the Atlantic, discovering the diamond camps and shipwrecks of the Namibia coast on the way. Explore Swakopmund, known for its old-world charm, and relax while enjoying coffee and cake in one of the many cafés found in Swakopmund. Enjoy a cruise to Walvis Bay and see large colonies of seals and schools of dolphins. Savor a lavish candlelight dinner in the desert.

Days 7 & 8: Twyfelfontein & Kaokoland
Fly into Twyfelfontein to visit the rock engravings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before continuing onto Okahirongo Elephant Lodge located in one of the last wild areas in northwestern Namibia. Okahirongo shares this region with the nomadic Himba people. Catch sight of springbok, ostrich and oryx, and track the elusive desert-adapted elephant. Hike along the Uarosib River and enjoy a visit with local Himba families who will share their stories and traditions.

Days 9 – 12: Etosha National Park & Depart for Home
Go on safari in Etosha, one of the most unique wildlife viewing parks in Africa. In this saline desert, watch for elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes and more.
Fly back to Windhoek on Day 11 to connect to your flight home (arriving the following day), or on to your next destination.
